My iPhone keeps asking for my 365 password: –

There is an issue with some iPhones where they keep prompting the user for their Office 365 password, but even if you enter the correct details, the iPhone refuses to accept them and keeps prompting.

The only solution we have found so far is to remove the account and add it back in again, this process only takes a couple of minutes to do.

  1. Click on Settings
  2. Either click on search and search for ‘Accounts’ or click Mail then Accounts
  3. Click on Exchange or if you changed the description, the account you are having an issue with
  4. Confirm the email address is the one that is prompting for the password
  5. Scroll to the bottom and click Delete Account
  6. This should then take you back to Accounts
  7. Click Add
  8. Select an Exchange Account or Microsoft Exchange
  9. Enter your email address and Description (the description is how it will display in your list of accounts)
  10. Click on Sign in
  11. If prompted, you have a Work or School account
  12. Enter your email address and password
  13. Once confirmed, you should be back at your iPhone screen
  14. Click Accept
  15. Click Save at the top right
  16. Wait for your emails, contacts, and calendar to download again
